At Adventist Senior Living we take the health and wellbeing of our residents and employees seriously. This includes our management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We would like to reassure you that we have vigorous infection control procedures in place and we are confident that these measures are helping us to keep our residents safe.
We know how important it is for our residents to have meaningful contact with their loved ones and we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to strive to protect all the residents in our care and those in the community.
We appreciate how patient you have all been with the constant changing of visitor restriction guidelines.

All Adventist Senior Living aged care facilities are open for visitation with the following arrangements:


Alstonville Aged Care Facility

Monday to Friday – 10am to 4pm

Weekends by appointment by contacting


Avondale House and Alton Lodge

Monday to Friday – 10am to 4pm

Weekends – 1pm to 4pm on alternate weekend days as follows:


Saturday Sunday
19th September Alton Lodge 20th September Avondale House
26th September Avondale House 27th September Alton Lodge
3rd October Alton Lodge 4th October Avondale House
10th October Avondale House 11th October Alton Lodge

All visitors to Adventist Senior Living residential aged care facilities are to wear masks and be vaccinated for influenza.

If you work in, live in or have visited listed COVID-19 hotspots in the last 14 days you are excluded from entry or visitation to our facilities. 

Adventist Senior Living works under the advice of NSW Health for visitation.  NSW Health has reviewed and updated NSW COVID-19 hotspots. Some areas that were previously restricted have been removed from the hotspot list. It is important that you check the  NSW Health COVID-19 restricted areas list for Sydney before you visit our facilities.  For clarification of the boundaries view the NSW Government Local Health District maps.  

As well as these restrictions, the following Queensland LGAs are are also considered to be hotspots and people who have been to these areas in the last 14 days will also be refused entry into our facilities:


  • City of Brisbane
  • City of Ipswich
  • Lockyer Valley Region
  • Logan City
  • Moreton Bay Region
  • Redland City
  • Scenic Rim Region
  • Somerset Region


Restrictions in relation to Victoria and border communities is unchanged.
