ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking a punctual, reliable, motivated and ideally an experienced care staff member for a casual opportunity with an immediate start based at Tweed Heads.

Our valued Home Care Employees provide a high level of individualised care for daily living, social and community activities. Tasks may include housework, transportation, gardening and meal preparation, with experienced team members attending to more complex personal care services.

If you have:

  • The commitment and willingness to learn on the job as an entry level employee
  • or hold a Certificate III or equivalent in Individual Support (Ageing), medications highly desirable, or currently studying a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Experience working with aged care consumers or providing domestic support or similar is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    o Follow instructions and procedures
    o Deliver results and meet customer expectations
    o Plan and organise
    o Cope with pressures & setbacks

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

  • Australian Working Rights
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Current and/or ongoing Flu and Hepatitis B Vaccinations
  • Current, Open Driver’s License
  • Reliable, registered and insured personal vehicle

Willingness to:

  • Obtain and NDIS Workers Screen Check
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
